I was hesitant to book because of some of the reviews, but I’m so glad I did. I honestly don’t understand the negative comments. My experience was completely different. The salon was clean, the staff was friendly and professional, and they did an amazing job on my nails. They paid attention to every detail and made sure I was happy with the result. I would definitely recommend this salon and will be coming back
I am from Mississauga, Ontario, and want to thank my new nail tech kelly who is in University and part time dies amzing nails. I have been going to her for over a year and adore her patience and poise she brings every time she does my nails. She recently did the BMW nails and the Zebra design after a few weeks. Support this Nails location, you will thank me.
I’ve been going to this salon for two years, which makes this experience even more shocking and unacceptable. I arrived just five minutes late to my appointment, and Tanya, the owner, reacted in a completely unprofessional and disrespectful way. Instead of handling the situation calmly, she spoke to me in a rude, condescending tone and openly belittled me in front of her staff and other clients. It was humiliating and completely unnecessary. No customer deserves to be treated that way—especially not someone who has been loyal to the business for years. The lack of basic professionalism and courtesy was honestly appalling. On top of that, the owner carries herself as if this is the only salon worth going to, which is far from reality—Montreal is full of talented, professional nail technicians who know how to treat clients with respect. To be fair, not all of the nail technicians are the same. Some are clearly more skilled and professional than others. Depending on who I was assigned to, my nails would sometimes turn out nicely, while other times they were poorly done. That inconsistency has always been an issue, but I overlooked it until now. I was already very upset, but the experience only got worse. I stayed for my pedicure, and it was far from what was advertised. I only received a minimal service—just a basic cleaning of my toenails and gel application. There was no scrub, no massage, and none of the standard steps you would expect from a full pedicure. Despite that, I was still charged full price. Being treated so poorly and then overcharged on top of it felt like a complete rip-off. This was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. Between the public humiliation, the rude behavior, inconsistent quality, and the lack of honesty in the service provided, I will absolutely not be returning. I strongly advise others to think twice before coming here.
I had been going there for three years and like all the ladies ! Don’t matter who I get they are all very good and do their best to fit you in even when you didn’t make an appointment. The negative comments about service is not fair! These women work so hard and need to be fast. If you are not happy with the shape or wtv it’s up to the customer to ask for corrections and not be so baby la-la!!
⭐ 1-star review I am extremely disappointed and appalled by the owner's behavior at this salon. I’ve been a client here before without any issues. Yesterday, I received a pedicure, paid in cash, and left. Today, I returned to get my nails done and asked if they had space right away. The owner said yes, and I mentioned I needed to go to the bank but would be back in five minutes. She assured me it was fine to get my nails done first and then go to the bank afterward. Once the service was complete, I was shocked and offended when she insisted I leave my cellphone or even my 10-year-old daughter behind as “collateral” while I went across the street to withdraw cash. I found this request completely inappropriate, especially since I am a returning client who has always paid for services with no issues. I calmly told her I would not leave my child or phone and walked away from her. She then tried to justify her demand by claiming it was “the law” that she had the right to ask for collateral. This experience left me feeling disrespected and insulted. No customer—especially a loyal one—should ever be put in such a position. I will not be returning, and I hope this review serves as a warning to others.
